Bulk material are mechanically transported by means of chutes,trenches,chain conveyors. Mechanical transport always causes frinction wear. Concrete tenches may be lined just as steel chutes.
The smooth surface of the cast basalt lining prevents caking and neigther corrodes nor requires maintenance.
